What we collect

Account: your email and name from the sign-in provider (Auth0), plus the profile you create (display name, age, gender, who you'd like to meet, short prompts, one photo).
Check-ins: when you tap "Check in", we receive your device's location once and keep the warehouse you checked in at, the time, and a rough accuracy figure. We do not track your location continuously or outside the app.
Activity: swipes, matches, messages you send to matches, reports and blocks.
Waitlist: email, ZIP code and the Costco city you tell us.
Analytics: we use Google Analytics on the marketing site and the member app to count visits and see which pages and features are used. It uses cookies and sends usage data to Google; it does not receive your profile, messages, matches or check-in locations. You can block it with a browser extension or by disabling cookies for this site.

To show your profile to other members who checked in at the same warehouse, and to show you theirs.
To send operational email (welcome, new match, waitlist updates). We use Resend to deliver email.
To keep the community safe: reviewing reports, enforcing bans.

We don't sell your data or show ads.
We don't share your exact location with other members. Matches see only whether you're currently checked in at the shared warehouse.
We don't share anything with Costco Wholesale Corporation. We're not affiliated with them.

Data is stored on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, R2, KV) in the United States. Authentication is handled by Auth0. Email is delivered by Resend.

Pause your profile from the profile page so nobody can see you.
Delete your account from the profile page. This removes your profile, photo, swipes, matches and messages.
Email hello@costcosingles.com for anything else, including a copy of your data.

You must be 18 or older. We remove accounts that appear to belong to minors.
